To embed a YouTube video in your Canva design, follow these steps:
- First, open any web browser and navigate to canva.com.
- Login to your Canva account.
- Next, create a design tailored to your needs:
- Click the “Create a design” button located at the top right side of the screen.
- Choose from the available formats provided, or select “Custom size” and enter the width and height of your desired design.
- For this demonstration, I will choose the size 1920 by 1080.
- Next, locate and click the “Apps” icon on the left panel.
- In the search bar at the top, enter “YouTube.”
- Click on the YouTube icon to access YouTube within Canva.
- Here, you can search for a particular video using the search bar provided. Alternatively, you can copy the video link from YouTube, paste it into a notepad, and only copy the part after “v=” which is the video ID.
