How To Post On Instagram From Computer
- First, open Instagram website on the PC browser and log in. The Browser could be chrome or Firefox. but we strongly recommend to use Chrome browser to this activity.
- From anywhere in the browser window itself, right click with your mouse and select “Inspect” at the bottom of the drop-down menu that appears. Alternatively, you can use CTRL, SHIFT, I command on the keyboard.
- This opens the developer tool within Chrome. The “Inspect” option will split your screen. Now you have the Instagram account on the left side and the code on the right.
- Don’t get scared by looking at huge code on the right. Just ignore it.
- Now Look at the top corner of that Inspector window and you will see a little icon that looks like a tablet and a phone.
- Just click on that icon. After clicking that tablet/phone icon, you will immediately see the left side of the screen changes.
- On left side, at the top, you will see the drop-down option as “responsive” as the selected choice. Click that and the drop-down menu shows a bunch of different phone or tablet options. You can pick the one closest to your device.
- After selecting the device, simply refresh the browser using using reload icon on left top side of browser or press F5 on keyboard.
- At this point, you should see a screen that closely matches what you see on your Instagram mobile app – with the usual plus (+) sign at the bottom that allows you to take or select a photo from your phone gallery.
- Click on Plus icon and it will open a dialogue box to open a folder on your computer where you can select the photo to upload to your Instagram account.
